Paul Radin on the Definition and the Main Characteristics of Primitive Religion

Abstract

The article concerns the main notions of conception of «primitive religion» by Paul Radin such as «religious feeling», «religious formulator» and so on. The anthropologist distinguishes religion from magic and «folkloristic background» and points out that primitive religion is closely connected with life-values.
